Last week I read someone’s amazement at how Google offhandedly launches new products and services that another company would make the key initiative for the year and Google seems to do it every few weeks. Here’s a video from Google UK of the company’s history and products from Stanford in 1995 to today and [...]

The cost of text [...]

Results from the 350 Campaign

Earlier I wrote about the 350 campaign and the global event on Saturday October 24.  While the ultimate goal of 350 won’t be achieved until CO2 levels are lowered, the short term goals were achieved at over 5200 events in 181 countries.
Created with Admarket’s flickrSLiDR.
Events around the world generated thousands of pictures, millions of tweets, [...]

Boston Under Water 350 Festival Saturday, October 24, 2009 3:00-5:30PM

What are you up to this weekend? How about joining me for a little activism around climate change for one of the most online marketing savvy campaigns that I know of, 350?

I Love The XKCD I Love Video

I loved the original XKCD Loves The Discovery Channel cartoon and now NoamR has animated and expanded the concept for 1:04 of bliss.  If that ain’t some geeky goodness then I don’t know what is.  Enjoy.

I Love xkcd from NoamR on Vimeo.
Now if only the Discovery channel will produce a show about people who love [...]

Addictomatic For Quick Social Media Searches

Addictomatic is a nice little tool that I found out about the other day.  It’s a social media search aggregator that produces a custom webpage of the results and is great for a quick review of mentions of a term that you input across a variety of social media site.   For example, I did a [...]
