Trumblog

About

Thomas TrumbleI am an Account Director at an online marketing company, constantly thinking about the internet and how it is used, how it connects us and how it affects our lives. At work my focus is on connecting businesses with internal and external audiences. But, clearly my clients are following the paths that consumers have blazed to new ways of using the internet. I live and work in the Boston area with my wife, two pre-teen daughters and a couple of small dogs. I’m a fanatic Sox fan, read a lot, listen to a lot of music and am pretty addicted to my Treo Blackberry.

The Trumblog are my thoughts and ramblings on the internet and life in general. Of course news and related cool stuff makes it in here too. You can keep up-to-date by subscribing to my RSS feed.

You can also follow me on Twitter, link up on LinkedIn, check out my bookmarks on Del.icio.us, take a look at my photos on Flickr, watch some of my favorite videos on YouTube, look at my reviews on Yelp, read my Tumblr blog of playlists, keep an eye on my location below with Google Latitude or just dive into my Lifestream.

  1. Why don’t you clip your last post about 350 on the WWF Climate web page ?

    Go to panda.org page here : http://blogs.panda.org/climate/2009/10/22/what-are-you-doing-on-24-october/

See the “connected” badge at the end of their post. Once clicked, see the “embed and connect” button on the WWF sidebar.
This will add you post to the list there and everywhere this badge is embeded. A good way to spread the (your) word.

    Best-
    Edouard

PS. better to paste the badge directly under your post (it will then automatically duplicate your text and multimedia in the WWF sidebar, more relevant).

  2. Thanks for the tip. I’ve added the badge to both of my 350.org publicity posts.

  3. Thx !

  4. Thomas,
Finally checked this out. Great stuff!

Hope you don’t mind, I gave you credit and used info from your Qik post for my social media and virtual world’s class at Babson. I included a link to your blog.

    Hope all is well!
    Thanks,
    BR

  5. Awesome. Glad that I, and the Trumblog, could be of help.
