Valerie – I assume that you mean having your Foursquare checkins appear as updates on Facebook and Twitter. I’m not sure if you can change that setting from the BlackBerry app, but you can on Foursquare.com. Go to the settings page, link in the top right, and then adjust your settings in the Linked Accounts at the bottom of the page. Thanks for the search tip.

@Thomas trumble – I have the storm 2 when u check in and u r unable to find your location u r given the option to do a further search when u type in dnt 4get to click the search in the right hand corner, you will get a new list with key words from which u searched if u still hv no joy with this another box will at the bottom of that search for u to do it manually with a further option of adding a tip.

I am trying this on the BB Storm 2, it doesn’t give me an option to add at all. I clicked on the ‘Not On List?’, it took me to the top of the page to enter the location in manually…..it doesn’t say anywhere about adding or just checking in. I have hit the Option button to see if it was in there, nothing.

Magali – there isn’t a link to directly add a venue as far as I can tell, but if you search for a venue and don’t turn up the venue that you are looking for at the bottom of the list is a “Still not in list?” button. Click that and you have the option to either “just check in” or “add venue.” Click “add venue” and you can create one with the name and address, you’ll have to add more details online.
