Sam – sorry to take awhile to get back to you on this. I’m not sure what the problem with your setup is. I assume that your password is correct and you haven’t changed the port number. I’m stumped. Can any readers give a suggestion?

This is the greatest post in the history of WordPress posts. I’ve set up tons of emails for every site I make and I can never remember how to go about setting up Godaddy pop accounts in Gmail. I always type in something in Google and your helpful post always shows up. Thanks again.

I’m having trouble with step 9. I type in my username to be the same as my email address listed above it and my password is correct and then I use biscuitsandgravymusic.com and I keep getting this message:

Never seen such a straight forward manual. Just what I needed, was searching for it like a crazy man. I followed the procedures and it went as a knife through butter… . The first test done and bull’s-eye,lol. Thanks again dude. God bless.

Alex – first of all make sure that the password and email address that you are using are for the domain hosted on GoDaddy and make sure that all of the other settings, Send Through Address.com, the SMTP server and port, and then that SSL is checked off. If that is all correct then you probably have miss-typed the email address or password. Good luck.
