Following is an interview of Steve Rubel, Senior Vice President from Edelman, interviewed by Michael A. Stelzner of Social Media Examiner, In the 9 minute video they discuss many things such as shared mutual game for companies and consumers, his switch to Posterous for blogging, keeping an eye on digerati and 20 and 30 somethings for trends, and social media measurement. But the two highlights for me were

• “Channels will change. There hasn’t been a community site that’s had staying power of more than 3 years.” (4:24)  How old is Facebook?
• “Be ubiquitous.  Be as many places as you can that are important to you and to do so using mixes messages.  Apply different message, diffrent stories to different places and at different times…. tailor your different messages to different places.” (4:48)
