Hitwise reports that Fred Thompson’s campaign www.fred08.com continues to lead other candidates in web traffic ( 34.73% market share) with web darlings Barack Obama ( 13.49%) and Ron Paul ( 12.88%) coming in second and third for the week ending September 8, 2007. It will be interesting to see if Fred Thompson’s recent announcement is still driving this traffic that will fall off over time or if his online dominance will have legs.
